Best Buy Canada is presenting a drone show called "Bright Skies" at Canada Place in Vancouver on December 2 and 3, 2022.
The show will feature 300 drones that are synchronized to tell a holiday story and will include festive scenes, holiday images and animations, and an appearance by Santa Claus.
The show will be free to attend and will run for about 10 minutes each night at 6 PM. Attendees will be able to see the giant aerial light display in the vicinity of Canada Place, including the railings on the west side and at the north end of the building.
"Bright Skies" is part of the annual "Christmas at Canada Place" event, which is presented by the Port of Vancouver and runs from December 2, 2022, to January 2, 2023.
During this time, a variety of free Christmas attractions will be available at Canada Place, including illuminated white sails, a display of Woodward's Windows, and an illuminated moose sculpture.
The event takes place at Canada Place and is open from 8 AM to 11 PM daily. "At Best Buy Canada, we love finding ways to use technology to bring joy to our communities.
What better way this year than a spectacular, family-friendly show," said Polly Tracey, Chief Communications and Public Affairs Officer.
"We're excited to bring a free holiday event to Vancouver and give the community a new way to celebrate the holidays."
